Game Credits follows strict privacy rules regarding the information they broadcast, and restrict its use and share.
We aim at gathering information about Game industry professionals in order to display it.
We do not sell any information to marketers or broker lists. All members’ details are displayed for information only.

What kind of personal information do we gather?
The information we get from video game professionals helps us improve the quality of the website. We gather several types of information:

- Information from manual (leaflet) : our team fulfils our database with information contained in Games manual, those types of information are called "Official Credits"
- Information from company : our partners send us information on games and projects they used to work on via email or using the web interface. Information is checked by our team and the job titles are codified in order to match with our Job classification. When everything is certified, the database is updated.
- Information from employees : each employee who works for the Game Industry can update and add some information about him. They can choose to retain some information, in this case they will not benefit from all the advantages that our website offers. We use the information that people provide for purposes such as improving their visibility in the game industry, customizing browsers for professionals and communicating with them.
- Automatic information: like many Website we use "cookies" and we get some information when your browser accesses Game-Credits (for example we collect and analyze the IP address used to connect to the Internet, we collect information on operating systems, platforms, viewed pages, etc.). Some utilities are design to help visitor to visit website anonymously.
- E-mail communication : we receive a confirmation when people open an e-mail from Game Credits. If people do not want to receive any e-mail coming from game-credits, they can ask us to unsubscribe to our mailing list.
